The sigma mixer extruder contains a set of kneading blades and one or two extrusion screws that are contra-rotating. In a w-shaped trough, the blades are positioned on a horizontal axis. One or two extrusion screws are below the blades in a separate cavity. The Kneader Extruder includes a set of counter-rotating kneading blades and a discharge screw. The blades are mounted on a horizontal axis in a u-shaped trough. Below the blades in a separate cavity is the discharge screw. * Low mixing time approx, 15% less time * Eliminates the manual task of scraping out sticky/tacky materials. * Eliminates operator exposure to materials of elevated temperatures or of a toxic nature, thereby improving plant safety. * Speed variation of the extrusion screw allows adjustment of the product flow, depending on the viscosity. * Sigma Capacity - 10 Liter to 2500 Liter
