Ribbon Mixers are a specific type of powder blenders that consist of 2 parts mounted on a central shaft. Ribbon blenders get there name from the ribbon agitator that makes up part of their design. A U-Shaped horizontal trough makes up the rest of the structure of a ribbon blender.
